The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced that it is issuing notices of inspection to 652 businesses nationwide. Notified companies will be required to submit I-9 forms for each employee within three days of receiving the notice. ICE plans to inspect these hiring records in order to determine whether or not companies have been complying with employment eligibility verification laws and regulations.
